I am working in the studio today with Steve Yates, mixing up the last few tunes for our new album "Blue Train" and it's sounding GREAT! I wanted to thank all of our friends and fans for donating to the production of the new CD, I couldn't finish it without you. We had recorded 16 songs in the studio before the Covid lockdown started, and since I've been taking chemo I haven't had the extra income to finish the project. Even with healthcare, the co-pays for surgery and chemo treatments have been draining my finances, and I couldn't finish this project without help.
The album is mostly Blues, Roots and Rockabilly and features a roster of amazing Chicago musicians including harmonica maestro Howard Levy, Chicago Sax King Eric Schneider, UK vocalist Dominic Halpin, vocalist Jen Zias, vocalist Mike Harvey, guitarist Neal Alger, Chris Bernhardt on bass, Don Stille playing organ, and Phil Gratteau and Paul Abella on drums.
